Wow. Just wow.
These are my favorite posts to go through during this time of the year. The curation of everything I've worked on this year. I love looking through everyone's hard work for the year. I get to see what everyone has poured their heart into creating incredible images. If a photographer that you know posts one of these recaps, please, I beg you, take the time to scroll through it. Their heart is in each and every photograph. They want you to feel the sun on your skin. They want you to feel the wind in your hair. They want you to be in that moment with them. So, please, take 5 or 10 minutes and give them that.
2019 was a really big year. I watched some of my closest friends get engaged. I gained a lot of new friends through walking through their season of engagement with them. I witnessed 20 incredible and unique weddings, some my clients and some of my friends' incredible clients. I met and photographed a lot of new people. I also photographed people that I have photographed 10+ times, the ones that feel like family.
If we've worked together this year, then you know who the person in the photo above. Sydney worked with me for the entire year, attending weddings with me, delving into the business part of photography, and really just jumped into photography head on. Syd, I am so proud of where you are now. Thank you so much for all of your help this year. I can't believe it's already the end of your internship. I really would not have been able to do this year without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Cheers to many more weddings together in the future.
We're ready for you, 2020. xo
