Devan and I connected thanks to her sister, Katie (THANK YOU, KATIE!!). Katie and I used to work together before I decided to leave to run my business full time. Katie has the best sense of humor and so I knew that I'd get on with her family as well. When I say that I love their family and love being around them, I am being so serious, yall. They are so freaking funny. Devan is the epitome of the laid back bride, which I love.

Devan and Matt got married at the Mordecai House in Raleigh, North Carolina. Fun fact: the Mordecai House is the oldest house in Raleigh on its original location. The rich history made it the perfect backdrop for Devan and Matt's ceremony. We then headed downtown for their reception at Tobacco Road Brewing. All I can say is WOW. What a gorgeous place to host a reception. What a fun group of people that Devan and Matt have in their lives. We really had the best time. The night (kind of) ended with a horse and carriage ride, but then Matt and Devan came back and decided to party for another hour. Oh, yeah, and they had karaoke. And nachos. And the bridesmaids wore jumpsuits.
