Being a photographer

is honestly one of the coolest things ever. I have had the opportunity to see so many beautiful places, including visiting and shooting at a crap ton of venues. There have been a few that have really stood out for a lot of different reasons. Great light. Great staff. Great location. Well-thought out flow. So many things factor into a great venue.

I second shoot a lot for a few of my closer industry friendors and I typically will not use these images, but I have been able to shoot at some really great venues with a few of them. A lot of these are on my bucket list because while I love my friends, I obviously would love to shoot at these venues on my own. So, fret no more, I have compiled a list of some of my favorite venues that I have been able to shoot at, as well as my bucket list venues that I am DYING to shoot at!!

The Firehouse

A perfect combination of sleek, modern, and industrial. 10/10 owners, a gorgeous bridal suite, and very versatile space.

Rumbling Bald Resort on Lake Lure

A gorgeous mountainous venue in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. Full of history and the perfect backdrop for any wedding.

Tobacco Road

In the heart of downtown Raleigh, this is the perfect industrial, modern venue. In my opinion, the perfect good-time reception venue.

The Barn at Valhalla

A stunning, multiple building venue. Lots of natural light in each building. On the water. Super versatile space.

The Fairview

A beautiful, polished venue near downtown Raleigh. Beautifully classic. Really incredible management. Again, extremely versatile space.

Venue Bucket List

I do offer discounts on my services for weddings booked at these venues. ;)
