These two. That's it. That's the post.
Just kidding.
Grace and Andrew are two of the most resilient, understanding people that I have ever been fortunate enough to work with. Not only was this not their plan A, it was also not their plan B. It was plan C. PLAN C. They really REALLY deserve an award for pivoting and working around all of the restrictions they faced. Even through the absence of a lot of key people in their lives, Andrew's family, Grace's sister, their love and admiration of each other and their love for their loved ones was still the most important thing to them. And you could feel that, 100%.
Their ceremony was my favorite part of the entire celebration. The way that they really infused their combining of their lives and cultures into each and every element was what stood out to me the most. There was a moment when they had some friends of theirs sing a worship song, half in English, half in Arabic. It really hit me how truly special this moment was when a large group in attendance sang along in Arabic. I think that was my favorite moment.
I honestly could go on and on about these two and their friends and family (that I LOVED being around), but I'll just share their day with you instead and let those speak for what a beautiful day they had.
